Bigg Boss OTT season 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav became one of the first wildcard entrants to win the controversial show. However, ever since his victory, he has been gaining a lot of recognition. Despite being supported by many people, he has also been embroiled in a lot of controversies in the span of a few months. His name has been a trending topic of discussion on the internet. After getting out on bail due to his involvement in the snake venom case, the Noida police recently lodged a substantial chargesheet of 1,200 pages in an Uttar Pradesh court. 

As reported by Zoom Entertainment, the chargesheet levels serious allegations against Elvish. The chargesheet details his alleged involvement in procuring the illegal substances for his parties and social gatherings. It claims that he used a virtual telephone number to acquire the snake venom, which he used at his rave parties and convey his message to the snake charmers. According to the portal, it highlighted the use of a virtual phone number which offers enhanced privacy and flexibility as it is not bound to a certain location or device. The 26-year-old YouTuber would use the number to contact his associate Vinay, who would communicate the specific instructions to Ishwar. It was then that the latter would pass on the messages to snake charmers about their requirements. The police have discovered evidence of Elvish’s virtual contact in Vinay’s call records. During an interaction with NDTV, police officer Vidya Sagar Mishra stated, “We have filed a chargesheet against all the named accused and have included statements from an expert at Mumbai's Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.”

For the unversed, a case has been registered against Elvish Yadav under the provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The FIR was lodged against the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner after he was arrested in the snake venom case. He was accused of supplying snake venom at his rave parties in Gurugram and Noida. Despite pleading innocent, the Noida police stated that they had evidence against him to initiate an investigation. He was released on bail after being in jail for 5 days.
